    Smokey Robinson to Headline the Benefit the Bard Concert

    Superstar Smokey Robinson will be headlining the Alabama Shakespeare Festival’s Benefit the Bard Concert on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 8 p.m.  Smokey Robinson has written and performed many of the greatest hits in pop music history as part of his group The Miracles and as a solo artist. A selection of his memorable songs include Shop Around, You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me, Ooo Baby Baby, The Tracks of My Tears, Tears of a Clown, Being With You, Cruisin’, Just to See Her and I SecondThat Emotion.
