(Duncan)
James is thrilled to return to ASF as part of
the 2012-13 season. He was previously seen here in Travels With My
Aunt, Henry VIII, Much Ado About Nothing, Julius Ceasar, Bear
Country, A Christmas Carol: The Musical, the world premieres of Nobody,
Rocket City, and both ASF productions of Crowns. In Detroit, where
he makes his home, James has received numerous critics’ awards and citations
for his work in Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Plowshare’s Theatre), Master
Harold and the Boys (Planet Art Theatre), Driving Miss Daisy (Meadow
Brook Theatre), 74 Georgia Avenue (Jewish Ensemble Theatre), and Janet
Choe’s How High the Moon (Plowshares Theatre). Much gratitude to
Geoffrey for the opportunity to perform in the state where I was born and
raised, and equal gratitude to the staff at ASF for making it such a pleasure
to be here.
