Spend your in-service day at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival! ASF offers educators two opportunities with our Teacher Seminars.

    Macbeth (January 4th)
Get a sneak peek behind the scenes as ASF prepares to produce Shakespeare’s most famous thriller – Macbeth!  Meet the producing artistic director, design staff and see some of the play in rehearsal.  Explore the bard through character and plot!  Get new insights to teach “the Scottish Play” to your students.  Tour ASF and discover the technical “backstage secrets” of Alabama’s premier professional theatre.

    Twelfth Night (January 7th)
ASF invites you to attend a preview of our 2013 School Tour of Twelfth Night. See the one hour performance then experience hands on activities to take back to your classroom for teaching Shakespeare.  Meet the director, designers and actors!  Discover how any Shakespeare can be adapted for students. Tour ASF and discover the technical "backstage secrets" of professional theatre.

Fee for this in-service workshop is only $10 per teacher. Bring 10 or more teachers for only $8 per teacher.
