  • How to Register for a Schoolfest Performance

    Before You Reserve  

    Please take note of our grade level recommendations. The Alabama Shakespeare Festival asks the group leader to take responsibility for whether a play is appropriate or not for their particular group. The Alabama Shakespeare Festival does not censor or edit the content of the Schoolfest performances. Due to the nature of live theatre information on language, setting, and length will be available closer to the opening of the show. We will answer your questions about the plays to the best of our ability.

    * All performances start promptly at 10:00 AM unless otherwise noted. 

    * Provide a mobile phone number which can be contacted the day of the performance. 

    Registration Instructions: Read all of the instructions before you download your application.  Download the application for the correct season below. Fill out the Schoolfest Application completely, providing all contact information.  All requests are processed in the order in which they are received. The Alabama Shakespeare Festival is not responsible for illegible faxes, registrations that are detained, or correspondences lost in the mail.

    Any additions to your reservation must be made through you. I cannot accept any individual request to be added to any Schoolfest reservations. This policy is in place to make sure that everyone who is in the building is supposed to be there. This also helps the educator control who is with their group. If a parent calls wishing to add to your group I will not give out any information on availability and they will be told that all requests must be made through the educator.

    Payment Instruction:
    Full payment is due 4 weeks before your performance date*. Remember we seat by when the reservation is paid, not when the reservation is placed.Please make checks payable to ASF and include the order number with your payment. Upon receipt of your Reservation, The Alabama Shakespeare Festival will send you an invoice to the contact person. Registrations not paid may be canceled.

    * If for any reason you need an extension, please keep us informed, we want you to be able to expose your students to our productions.

    Cancellation Policy:
    In the event you must cancel your reservation or reduce the size of your group please do so no less than 6 weeks before the performance date. The Alabama Shakespeare Festival offers no refunds.
