Joel Jones (Musical Director, Piano) Dr. Joel Jones is a native of Chicago, IL.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in Music from Talladega College, Talladega, Alabama, in 1977, a masters degree in piano performance from Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, in 1978 and a D.M.A. in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, in 2001.  Dr. Jones is currently serving as Associate Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities in the Department of Music at Alabama State University.
