Box Office
The Alabama Shakespeare Festival is seeking to fill several Part Time Box Office Agent positions. An ideal candidate works well under pressure, is a creative problem solver, takes initiative and pays great attention to detail and accuracy. Box office experience is preferred, but we will train the right person who has a similar retail and/or customer service background. A love of the performing arts; computer literacy; the ability to establish rapport with a wide variety of individuals and an excitement for increasing sales revenue are essential.
Candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and some holidays. Responsibilities include placing ticket orders, answering telephone calls, performing accurate data entry, and serving as The Alabama Shakespeare Festival's first point of contact with the general public. Box Office Agenst are also cross-trained to work the ASF Gift Shop.

Volunteers
The Alabama Shakespeare Festival, the southeast's premier non-profit theatre, is seeking friendly, energized, theatre-loving volunteers to assist with a variety of tasks. Assistance is needed in the following areas: ushering, clerical, computer entry, mailing preparation and answering the telephone. Training will be provided for those selected. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and be available to assist during evening events.
