Membership at ASF offers the ultimate in entertainment flexibility. If you want to set a date, time and seat for every show in our season, go ahead! If you’d rather take it one show at a time, feel free! Either way, you’re guaranteed great discounts and benefits.
Membership Frequently Asked Questions
Benefits for all members:
- The greatest discount ASF offers – up to 15% or more off most tickets!
- Membership allows flexibility. Come to shows on any day that performances are available, or come on the same day of the week every time you attend a show. It’s your choice!
- As a member you will have the opportunity to get seats before the general public before the start of each new season!
- Members will receive invites to Members-only meet-the-artist events.
- Members will receive ASF’s Membership Newsletter quarterly.
- Members receive discounts at participating restaurants.
- Members will receive a 10% discount at the ASF Gift Shop, Bar and Concessions.
- Members pay no processing or exchange fees (exchanged 24 hours prior to the date on the ticket.)
Membership Options
Scripted Membership
Do you live by your calendar? Do you know what you’re doing this time a year from now? If so, then the Scripted Membership is for you. Join with the membership fee of $25 and purchase tickets to six or more shows to receive the deepest member discount of up to 20% or more off most tickets.
How to become a Scripted Member:
- Choose six or more shows.
- Choose the dates you would like to see these shows. The best prices are available on preview performances, where you can be the first to see the shows, get the best price and spread the word (discounts not available on preview or opening performances)!
- Choose your seating preference. What area of the theatre would you like to sit in? Be as specific as possible and list your top three seating choices.
- Mail in your completed order form with payment to the Box Office at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, 1 Festival Drive, Montgomery, AL 36117, or call us at 1.800.841.4273 with your order. We accept cash, check and credit card
Ad Lib Membership *
Are you just getting to know us or on a budget? Consider becoming an Ad Lib Member. Join ASF as a member with the membership fee of $25 and receive up to 15% or more off most tickets that you purchase. There is no minimum purchase required. No need to decide on show, date or seating choices at this time. Or, if you like, member passes to be redeemed for future shows may be purchased at this time (they make great gifts).
How to become an Ad Lib Member:
- You may simply choose to join at $25 and select performances, dates, and times at a later date, or you may return your payment along with your completed order form or call us at 1.800.841.4273 for personal service over the phone (remember that six or more shows qualifies you as a Scripted Members).
*Improv Memberships are now included with Ad Lib Memberships. If you would like to purchase member passes for future shows at the time that you renew you may still do that. Please call for member passes.
